Grayson Martone

I am passionate about creating a space where you feel comfortable exploring whatever’s on your mind—especially if therapy is new to you and you’re not quite sure where to start. While working towards my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Minnesota, I began my career in mental health during my time as the president of my fraternity. That experience opened my eyes to just how isolating and limiting the expectations of masculinity can be for young men, and it sparked my interest in creating spaces where men can show up as their full, authentic selves.

My clinical interests include men’s issues, self-esteem, and gender identity exploration, including working with individuals who are questioning or transitioning. I also enjoy working with people who are new to therapy and feeling unsure of how to begin—because starting therapy doesn’t have to be perfect to be meaningful.

My approach to therapy is grounded in both existential and person-centered theories. That means I’m interested in helping you make sense of your life in a way that feels meaningful to you, while also making sure our work together feels collaborative, respectful, and centered on your goals. I see therapy as a space where you can slow down, reflect, and start to organize your thoughts and feelings without judgment. Whether you're feeling stuck, uncertain, or just looking for a place to begin, I’m here to walk alongside you as we figure it out together.

While I finish my Master’s through the University of St. Thomas’s Graduate School of Professional Psychology, you can work with me at Brave Mental Health in Chanhassen under the supervision of Dr. Kristen Stevens, Psy.D., LP. Reach out for a free 15 minute consultation!
